Did you know?: May and Mental Health

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.

I don’t know why May was chosen, but today I came across this Wikipedia article about Saint Dymphna, the Catholic patron saint of mental illness, whose day is May 15.

May 15 is a Sunday this year. Latter-day Saints observe the Sabbath as a day of rest and reflection. Some Latter-day Saints use the day to focus on family, improving relationships, or serving others. Some may take time to pray, study the scriptures or recent General Conference talks, or listen to (and even create) uplifting music. Still others choose to enjoy the beauty of the natural world, write in their journals, or count their blessings.

Do something good for your mental health today!
